NAZA U.S. Release: Theatrical Rollout, Debate and Where It Fits in the Film’s Timeline

NAZA entered U.S. theaters after its Venice premiere and international rollout, bringing the documentary into a new round of public debate over Israel’s conduct in Gaza and U.S. support for the war.

What the Guardian reported

The Guardian’s release announcement said NAZA would open in U.S. theaters on 30 September at IFC Center in New York City and expand to Los Angeles and other key markets on 9 October. The Guardian reported on 1 October 2026 that the IDF had issued a statement saying the film gives a distorted and misleading picture of its target planning and strike processes, and that the film’s 24 military sources were anonymised.
